Author Inspiration

The very first time I could no longer teach children whom I’d previously taught weekly, I carried in my heart memories of my time with them. I wondered how they were faring in my absence and if the things I’d taught them stayed with them.

Because of life changes, I’ve had to process similar situations time and again. One time while I was wrestling with this, it occurred to me that my 6th grade English teacher wrote a comment on my result that has never left my heart. His words have encouraged me through tough times, and now I realize that my words have the same power. That’s why I enjoy using my writing to leave positive imprints in the lives of many more children who I may never get a chance to meet physically. I still enjoy teaching though, and I do so quite regularly. I also enjoy leisurely walks in warm weather and painting nature scenes just for fun.

I got Everything I Am for my daughter and she absolutely loves it. I love the way it's structured and how kids can easily relate to the author's thoughts. 10/10!

God's Word Says I Am has given me new additions to my daily affirmations. It has also added new perspective to the affirmations I tell myself each day. I have a new understanding of these words, and when I say them now, I speak with intentionality and understanding!
